At Incite we use a Silent Bid DKP system.
Points are awarded at the END of the raid for the following:
10 points - Participate in the ENTIRE raid for that night.
10 points - Bonus points for Friday night raids.
5 points - Participate in a partial raid.
5 points - Online and ready to go at the start of the raid (IE not in an instance with someone else) and not Accepted into the nights raid.
5 points - Bonus points for first kill of a boss.
In the case that a raid is called due to lack of people online, the people online and ready to go will receive full points for that raid.
After a boss is killed please wait until all people are alive and and near the boss before the corpse of the boss is cracked. I know you want to see the loot, we all do but please be patient with this.
All items that drop will be open to main spec first. Minimum bid for a Main Spec item is 20 points.
(Main spec is defined as the spec that you entered the guild with. For example; if you were brought in as Shadow Priest, you will be a DPS caster. If for one raid you are asked to spec healing and agree to do so for that night you will still be a DPS Caster.)
After all main specs pass on an item it will be then open to Off Specs. Minimum bid for an Off Spec item is 5 points.
You cannot bid on a 2nd or 3rd tier item until every raid member present has received their 1st item.
After all loot has been linked the bidding process will begin.
We will then choose a piece to bid for asking all interested people to send a bid (the maximum amount of points you are willing to spend), in a tell, to a designated officer. Please pay attention here as it will not always be the same officer depending on what is being bid on.
When all the bids are in the winner and the winning bid will be announced. All items will be won for 5 points higher than the next higher bidder (still following the 20point main, 5point off, minimum bids).
EG:
1)
Person A bids 100 points
Person B bids 50 points
Person A wins the item for 55 points.
2)
Person A bids 22 points
Person B bids 20 points
Person C bids 40 points
Person C wins the Item for 27 points.
If the 5 points above the next highest bidder would push your bid over your bid, you will win the item for your bid.
EG:
Person A bids 44 points.
Person B bids 45 points
Person B wins for 45 points
If there is a tie it will be decided by a random roll, and people will be charged the amount of the tie.
EG:
Person A bids 30 points
Person B bids 30 points
Both players roll 1-100
Player a rolls 2
Player B rolls a 12
Player B wins the item for 30 points.
When multiple Tier Set items drop will bid for all of them in one bid. The items will be given to the top 2 bidders for 5 points above the third highest bidder.
EG:
1)
2 Paladin, Priest, Warlock items drop-
Player A bids 70 points
Player B bids 30 points
Player C bids 40 points
Both Player A and C would win the item for 35 points.
2)
3 Rogue, Mage, Death Knight, Druid items drop-
Player A bids 30 points
Player B bids 50 points
Player C bids 40 points
All 3 players would win for the 20 point Minumum.
Off Set items will be bid for in the same manner, but only after EVERY main set passes on the item.
If the minimum bid would put you into negative points you are not allowed to take that item unless everyone in the raid (both Main and Off specs) pass on that item first. You can continue going further into negative poins for as longs as you want, but remember that you will be the last one considered for that item. Even if you are a tank and that tanking piece is going to a healer who has never tanked a day in their life.[/u] _________________ I wonder what was the most intelligent thing ever said that started with the word ‘dude.’
